An ideal professional peel for acne, problem and hyper pigmented skin working to unclog and reduce the appearance of enlarged pores, even skin tone and treat sun damaged skin. Gentle yet super effective peeling gel contains salicylic acid with its excellent anti-inflammatory benefits, glycolic acid excellent for
eczema, dermatitis, skin toning and texture, and an additional herbal blend of ginseng and yarrow extracts.
Recommended Use: Cleanse skin with Brightening Facial Fruit Wash. This will begin to gently lower the pH and remove any loose dead skin cells for a more beneficial peel experience. Using a cotton swab, brush or a piece of square guaze, rapidly apply peel in a thin even layer. Begin on chest and work up to forehead and hairline. Avoid eye area. Wait for 2-4 minutes. Repeat as necessary building layers, up to 4-6 layers. Neutralize peel by
applying Post Peel Neutralizing Elixir with a piece of gauze throughout the entire treated area. Repeat. Remove all traces of the peel with cotton pads, gauze soaked with cool water or a cold wet towel. Follow with a thin application of the Hippophae Hydration Balm for faster new skin turnover and results.
Precautions: Slight redness, stinging or tingling is normal. If irritation is intense, remove product immediately, and rinse well with cool water. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. In case of contact with eyes, flush immediately with fresh water for 10-15 minutes. If irritation persists, consult a physician. Keep out of reach of children.
Sunburn Alert: This product contains Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA) which will increase skins susceptibility to sunburn. Must use sun protection when going outdoors no less than SPF 30 when undergoing chemical peels.
Contradictions: Chemical peel is not recommended for skin that flushes or blushes easily. Avoid use on skin with signs of rosacea, eczema or sunburn, or if client is pregnant or lactating. Do not perform treatment if client is using Acutane®, Retin-A®, Renova®, or other retinoid or topical prescription treatment or has recently undergone laser resurfacing, dermabrasion, chemical peel or invasive procedures. Avoid use on broken or cut skin.
